They changed the drivers.Simply connecting the new mouse wipes out the older drivers, which will require reinstalling and another setup of buttons and macros once you realize the new mouse isn't going to work. They are advertised to appear to be the same 4000dpi mouse as sold back in 2016, but they are not! They changed the hardware. So I buy two more in 2020, and the macro recording doesn't work. Programmable, Works great. Someone actually answered that question? I can't believe it! LOL!I bought two of these in 2016.
